I dunna like to stay their again its so far from the city 40 km away to the downtown

no spa and musculation room

Came here for trip, had quiet 4 days overall. We ate at a really great restaurant with good food and wide selection. A lounge, nice big windows, and climate control were important for us. Its stunning, remote location was a plus.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool is beautiful. Very quiet hotel for relaxing get away.

To get into town or the beach from the hotel you have to cross a small stream which can only be done by hand pulled raft, which closes at 10pm. So if you go out you have to be back at hotel by 10pm or catch a taxi the long way around.

Very good service, nicely furnished villa with an amazing view, shower, incredible bath. Free parking nearby provided.

I did´t like you had not solved the problem to reach the beach in a better way.An bridge had solved the problem. The man on the boat was awfully nice but but...

The staff were very friendly, the poolside rooms were excellent.

Many things: The hotel is classified as 4 star, not so. It may achieve this status in the future. The hotel has only been opened for 9 months and has not been finished. Brown water came out of the taps. The 'plunge' bath/pool were unusable as dirty. I did upgrade to a poolside room which was excellent. However in the afternoon there was no shade on the 'patio' area so the sun was too fierce to be out in it. Shaded in the morning. Obviously the rooms on the other side of the pool were visa versa. The pool bar, in fact the only bar is grey concrete with concrete stools set in the pool or small water troughs. In other words there are no seats for people who hadn't worn flip flops! The restaurant was ok, food wise, but a short walk along the beach will be a better option for restaurants and price. Annoyingly the prices in the hotel, not for the rooms, carry a 10% service charge and then a further 7% tax. Yes they tax the service charge as well. Not sure that's right. If you wish to go to the beach then as I have said it is a short walk but there is a river in the way. There is a man and a rope pulled boat to get you over, free, although it closes at 8pm and then you have to get a cab back cost 300 Thb. PS if returning after dark take a torch! Generally bits are 4 star, certainly the price, but overall 2-3 stars, sorry!

Easy going internet wifi working well quiet rooms are large

The access to the bar if you are not in the swimingpool. Ants in the room could have a space in the room where you can work even I know it is not a business hotel

Great premises, really bluffing with the pool in between the bungalows, and excellent interior design - very relaxing and simple.

Staff welcoming was so-so, breakfast quality really poor and the room was not ready for us to move in although we arrived really late...

Nice hotel, close to the nice beach. Fairly good value

Check in took longer than usual. We arrived at 12, check in time is 2 p.m., however we were only placed at 3 p.m., several times staff told us to please wait another 20 minutes. However all the time staff was very helpful and friendly

The pool

A hotel not completed is how I would best describe L'esprit. It has the potential but the general impression is of a rushed, incomplete building project and I got no sense whilst there that anyone cares that it is not complete so I guess that there is every chance this hotel will only deteriorate. Apart from the generally poor standard of building and finishing, there were also some aspects of the design of the rooms that did not appear to have been thought through. I would not go there again and I would not recommend it to anyone given its current standard.

Location necessitates walking through a dark, low-lit area at night, which feels unsafe!!! A bridge across the river would drastically improve accessibility and safety instead of relying on an elderly man's assistance!!!

Thé staff is obsequious but not very helpfull. This place is not a good value and is lost in the middle of nowhere.

Intimate and relaxing but close enough to beach and shops. Bathrooms were basic but clean however being open air insects / Mosquitos were in abundance Great area and beach

A relaxing stay with room issues

Woke up to the soothing sound of the pool. The spacious villa offered a charming vibe.

The maintenance issues were concerning. Torn loungers and a poorly functioning air conditioner.
